WELCOME, ALL TO OUR PORTAL animalworldregistry.com A SITE DEDICATED TO THE PURPOSE OF RECORDING ALL ANIMALS ( DOMESTICATED) AND PETS IN INDIA.
This REGISTRY does not conflict with the interest of any private clubs or societies that are or may be involved in registering Dogs, Cats, Horses, Cows, Goats, Birds, or any other Pets or Animals.
My lifetime's pursuit in knowing and developing an all-round knowledge about animals and Pet Animals in particular - having to deal with hobbyist and professional breeders as I have been owning and running a reasonably large Veterinary Clinic and Surgery with boarding facilities at M/S ANIMAL LOVERS CLINIC, 18 RAJA DINENDRA STREET, KOLKATA - 700009 starting from 1983 up until just very recently.
The 2500 sq. ft on which I had these facilities was attended by several leading VETERINARIANS daily. Our surgery was used for hundreds and hundreds of surgeries over the years. This gave me an insight into the joys, responsibilities, and complexities of what one may term ANIMAL HUSBANDRY this also includes knowledge of AQUARIUM fishes and setups since at our CLINIC & PET SHOP we had over 50 tanks on display.
My close association with PURE BREED dogs for over 50 years during which time I have been involved with all aspects of Dog Care and with the added advantage of performing as an ALL BREEDS DOG JUDGE FROM 1985 and INTERNATIONAL ALL BREEDS DOG JUDGE from 1989 having to judge extensively all across India and around the world.
I have had the honor to be invited to judge many major DOG SHOWS around the world in numerous countries. This includes 3 ROYAL SHOWS IN AUSTRALIA - MELBOURNE 1989 / BRISBANE 2000/ HOBART 2004 and also many other important shows in several states of Australia repeatedly. Other countries include New Zealand, the UK, South Africa, and many countries in Asia and Europe. This allowed me to have a peep ANIMAL world in depth. I spared no opportunities to learn various registration systems n operations in the animal world and interacted with Vets in many many countries educating myself in the nitty-gritty of this fascinating world of Animals and PETS in particular.
Some time back while I was researching the idea of permanent identification of animals especially stray animals and millions of unregistered animals that have no method of permanent marking or identification. In this context, I questioned many people, and on one occasion a person who works with stray dogs in a GOVERNMENT establishment where they sterilize dogs when asked how they mark the bitches they have operated on and he replied that they chop off one ear of bitches they have sterilized. I was pretty shocked to hear this and I also came to learn from other sources that in cases where there is no marking like chopping of ears etc. it has so happened that they opened up the bitch for a second time without knowing and to their dismay they saw that the animal had already been operated upon before.
It is not only the strays but millions and millions of dogs and cats and other animals that have no permanent identification. This resulted in my formulation of a procedure for permanent markers by registering them with a TATTOO number - this is not only a very simple procedure but most inexpensive. In the case of stray animals, we have developed a procedure whereby registered NGOs can record a permanent TATTOO NUMBER issued by us in the cloud without any charges. A photograph of the dog, cat, or any other stray animal can also be saved and linked to an official WhatsApp number of the registering NGO.
Tattoo markings are most inexpensive as they can be done with a homemade Tattoo marker or there are many Tattoo machines cheaply available in the market that can be used, tattooing procedures are simple and are also explained in numerous youtube videos which can come in handy. Most of the hundreds of Pet Shops and Veterinary clinics can also help in putting the tattoo on in an inexpensive manner. We at animalworldregistry.com will also shortly upload videos explaining Tattooing procedures on different animals.
Their breeders do not register the majority of purebred dogs/cats etc. for various reasons one of them is of course the matter huge expense that is involved in registering with clubs where in some cases the expenses run to a couple of thousand rupees which is only useful if someone wants to enter his or her dog/dogs or cats or other animals and PETS in a competition which that registration issuing club organizes.
This registration system only costs about the same as a good cup of COFFEE and it does not clash with the interests of any other organization as it does not run any DOG SHOWS. But this registration and individual TATTOOING system can come useful for all animal lovers e.g. to conduct free vaccination or sterilization programs for strays ( for strays registered by all NGOs under their names the initial registration cost of Rs.99/- is a hundred percent refundable ). Also, it shall come in handy when individual persons register their PETS using our PORTAL they instantly get a certificate sent to them promptly via WhatsApp. This will help for identification of the animal by numerous organizations who conduct Dog, Cat, Bird, Horse, and or animal-related shows and events across INDIA.
A registered owner can transfer the animal to any other person's name by filling out a simple transfer procedure on our PORTAL. Further, they can even record a 2-generation pedigree by providing relevant details on our prescribed format provided on our PORTAL to record the valuable pedigree of their DOG, CAT, HORSE, COW, OR any other ANIMAL or PET which they have already registered earlier at < animalworldregistry.com>.
I have researched for many years to finally conclude that if we are an enlightened and responsible community then a simple system must be adopted to register all our DOMESTIC and PET animal - so I have finally come up with this idea to register them all which will cost less than a cup of good COFEE
India is the world's largest democracy with a huge population of an estimated 1.3 or 1.4 billion people.
India consists of 36 different and distinctive territorial regions (28 states and 8 union territories). Each of these 36 different join together to form the central government that governs this huge and populous country. All the different states and union territories have autonomous administrative bodies laced together in a federal system to form the central government which is the custodian of our constitution and the sole authority to pass resolutions and legislations which are binding on all national administrative bodies. These national bodies represent all our sporting activities and are conducted through democratic procedure which includes representatives of all the states. Unfortunately, we do not have any national body representing the world of animals and pets which could not only involve our animal husbandry ministry but also the sports ministry perhaps.
Animal-related sports are famous worldwide. Many countries of the world have promoted animal sports in a big way. But unfortunately in our country, there has been no effort to develop these animals, fish, and bird-related activities except maybe the sport of racing horses. There must be a specific reason for that which seems quite obvious. Not only in this sport do we have the rich and the powerful but also many elite indians who enjoy this sport at international standards in india. We have some of the best facilities like the race courses of calcutta, bangalore, chennai, and others. Most of these have been left to us by the britishers who had developed these great infrastructures during their rule in india.
In the field of dogs also the britishers had left a legacy and infrastructure like greyhound racing courses etc. Today we could have been proud but unfortunately slowly the reigns of the sport passed on from gracious people to incapable people who ruined our reputation worldwide starting from the end of the last century and the beginning of this century.
In the last 4 or 5 decades or more human involvement in the development of numerous domesticated species of animals and pets around the world is indeed commendable. In india since breeders and fanciers do not get the recognition and support of the administration who feel it is merely a small hobby and pastime for a few. This is because we are not united and do not represent our fraternity pan india. Even though millions are earning their livelihood from animal breeding and services throughout india we are unable to compete in producing quality that others in small neighbouring countries can achieve and have not only.
Generated huge revenue through exports but also provided gainful employment to millions.
We are not only behind in promoting our many unique varieties of native species of pet animals many of which may have already gone extinct but also the galaxy of numerous imported species of birds, dogs, and other pets majority of which have over the years been smuggled into our country could also add up to make a huge export proposition generating hundreds of crores of rupees in revenue and as i said before that it will help in providing additional source of employment opportunities to millions in this country. This can only happen when we have a comprehensive export & import policy in place like it is in other countries.
Finally, once again i would like to mention here that for millions in this country who are already professionally engaged in this field but being an unorganised sector they get little or no support from the administration. To attract serious attention of our administration both local and central we must put up an united front consisting of animal and pet lovers across india only then a rational policy for animals and pets can come into place.
Presently most people have to resort to smuggling crores of rupees worth of livestock ( except horses ) across international borders that we share with nepal, bangladesh and others. Most of these hapless animals have to be smuggled under inhuman conditions being forced to be subjected to cruel and torturous methods of cramping them into small transport cages to evade the customs at the border which often results in many casualties. As we all know that a barrel can not yield what is not in it so without high-quality parent stock one can not produce the Desired quality to compete internationally. We therefore need import permission on an ongoing basis to as continuous inputs from time to time will be necessary to inject new breeding lines from other.
Countries to be able to compete in the international market.
Our
We have to first help ourselves and then only can our state and/ or central administration help us in solving our problems by formulating rules and regulations and or passing legislation benefiting the entire animal and pet industry so that we can compete with the rest of the world who have gone a long way ahead of us in the field of livestock breeding including ornamental fish and exotic bird breeding and related animal sports like dog shows and other livestock shows.
Though from time to time some rules are being passed by our central and state governments but mostly they are based on unrealistic ideas formulated by so-called experts who have little or no experience with ground realities. We have to take into cognizance the ground rules governing the animals and pets industry worldwide before formulating, passing, or even suggesting any rules or regulations and trying to Arbitrarily thrust them upon the pet and animal-loving fraternity
I appeal to all animal lovers to join this movement and make your presence visible on this site: animalworldregistry.com”.
We hope to be a bridge between animal and pet lovers of this country and the numerous organizations / clubs / associations etc.
Just a nominal registration charge of rs.99/- ( rupees ninety-nine only ) makes you a part of this great movement to serve the animal world of india.
Our primary goal is to unite and integrate the animal-loving people of pan india and help make a foundation to provide assistance in restricting the ever-growing stray animal population by sterilising them using acceptable and best possible methods.
